ABOUT US
WHO WE ARE
Skydive Diani was set up to create, foster and facilitate sport parachuting, in all its facets, within Kenya, in the safest and most progressive manner, on behalf of its members. And what better place to start than in beautiful Diani! This club is chartered by, and under the jurisdiction of the Civil Aviation (Parachute Operations) Regulations, 2007 of the Civil Aviation Act (cap 394) under the Kenya Civil Aviation Authority (KCAA).
Before we tell you what the purposes of this club are, meet it’s officers:
WHY WE EXIST
CREATE
To create and foster a spirit of understanding, enthusiasm and participations in the sport of skydiving in Kenya by advocating safe, efficient, easily accessible and legally compliant participation in skydiving in Kenya to the people of Kenya and the international community.
PROMOTE
To promote a diverse participation in the sport in Kenya by establishing and maintaining contact with all relevant bodies in Kenya, and throughout the world, in order that all technical and practical developments within the sport, whether of a safety, training, demonstration or competitive nature, are made known to the parachuting community.
PROVIDE
To provide a forum for the open discussion of all matters of the participants of skydiving in Kenya, and the governing body of KCAA, to continually develop and advance safe, enjoyable and accessible skydiving in Kenya.
FACILITATE
To facilitate regular skydiving operations throughout the year by establishing and maintaining contact with all relevant bodies throughout Kenya to ensure the smooth operation of local activities.
TRAIN
To train non skydivers to the international FAI standard and give them the necessary qualifications and experience
REINVEST
To reinvest in the community of Kenya, and the sport of skydiving in general, as to operate as a NON-PROFIT organisation.
COORDINATE
To coordinate between, and affiliation to, other organisations by negotiation, stipulation and by granting and arranging reciprocity between such organisations.
